Can you tell the difference between 4k Native vs Upscaled? 🤔

Just because a console and a PC can “run” games at 4k resolution does NOT mean that both graphics have the same quality.

Most consoles games are forced use aggressive upscaling techniques in order to run games at “4k” resolution at a good frame rate (like 60/120fps). On PC you have more options to configure your graphics settings. And if you have a strong enough system, you can run games without any upscaling or in “native”. A game running in 4k native resolution versus one that uses upscaling will not have the same level of quality when it comes to graphics.

Native takes more resources and more expensive hardware to run usually and that’s why PS5s don’t cost $2000 😅
