Is Gaming at 4K Overkill? 🤔

Do you think 4K gaming is worth it? Or 1440p? 🤔

Recently I was gifted this ROG Strix XG27UCDMG 4K OLED 240hz monitor to try and it has definitely opened my eyes to the differences between 1440p and 4K gaming. Not only does this monitor have great contrast and color accuracy, but the pixel density is so high that game visuals are SUPER sharp. I will say it’s definitely hard to show this difference in a short video since it’s downsized to 1080p.

I still think 1440p is the sweet spot for gaming, but I can definitely see why those who are looking for a premium gaming experience prefer 4K.
